Hello! Would you listen to my story?
You can call me Lily Rose. I’m a woman, a daughter, a sister, a mother, a wife, a friend, a professional. I’m exactly like anyone else. I’m 41 years old, and I was diagnosed HIV+ fifteen years ago. I’ve learned since then that life can’t be taken for granted, and I hope my story helps you understand how it is to live with the virus.
It’s about coping with unexpected events and learning to make plans again. It’s made of moments of sadness but also joy, a good deal of despair and loads of hope, and a firm resolution to remain alive in spite of all. Please come closer and grab a seat – it won’t take long.
